A 10 day once in a life time sea kayak expedition led by James Stevenson and Philip Clegg. The team will head to Kulusuk on the East Coast of Greenland and head out on a 7 day sea kayak trip.
The day after landing on the gravel airstrip, we'll leave Kulusuk village behind, bound for the vast wilderness that lies to the north. Following tides and currents carrying pack ice, we'll explore deep fjords overshadowed by gneiss spires and paddle at a safe distance along the faces of awe inspiring glaciers. The water run off causes upsurges of plankton that Minke and Sei whales congregate to feed on. This is an expedition into the most beautiful land, water and icescape that we know of.
This is a serious trip to a serious environment. Pre expedition consultancy will be provided as well as a pre exped meeting and a training weekend.
